If you loved the film or book, You will love this game!

It was a surprise to see a game based on Donnie Darko but then a big dissapointment because I was expecting more. And the digitized backgrounds were ugly, made in a hurry I guess. And then it's short and just Frank tells you to do three things with not much of a meaning. I'd expect a real Donnie Darko based game with a good scenario or even playing again the scenario of the movie.

Really good game but would have loved it to be longer.

The mood in this game was good, and Frank talking to you at various points (the line about the pills is excellent) was very nice.

Having liked the movie, I'd LOVE to see this expanded into a more complete game, starting off more or less as it did (very simplistic) and evolving into a more involved and complex story that would deal with Donnie's emotions, his relationships with family and friends, his time at school, etc. And I'd REALLY be enthused to see it go from there and PAST the conclusion of the movie and into a further epilogue of the story. Now THAT would really be something.

Still, for what it was, this game was alright. Could have used a touch more complexity, though, both in terms of puzzles and character/ plot devlopment (reveling more about the old lady, for example, would have been a step in the right direction).

This game had a ggod atmosphere. Even though I haven't seen the movie, I still enjoyed it.
