A game promised more than ten years ago, Barn Runner: The
Forever Friday – Chapter 5 tells the story of what Dr. Noriko was doing while
Prick and Harry were off saving the city during the events of chapter three.
The murderous chaos of “The Big Crazy” may be slowly winding
down, but the journey through the sprawling interior of the giant arcology will
provide Noriko with plenty of dangerous obstacles on her journey up to The
Dome, where the police are about to stage a final, apocalyptic battle to wrest
control of Arc 19 away from the rioting citizens, the doomsday cultists, and
the metal claws of the Robot Revolution. With your help, Noriko will det…ermine
the fate of a city where the eternal evening has at long last come to an end
and an unknown future is waiting to be born.
Easily the biggest game I have ever made, Chapter 5 is
packed with silly puzzles, enjoyable mini-games, funny dialog, entertaining
NPCs, and a large variety of detailed places to explore, all set in the goofy
world of Barn Runner, a series that has been going for 20 years now.
I hope you enjoy it and thanks for playing!

HOLY COSMOS! This game actually exists?!!
I remember checking the website for updates about 10 years ago on the progress of the game, and it dwindled down to one update in a year, and then nothing more for at least another year or so.
But here it is, and I do feel it was worth wait, most definitely.
If you have never played one of these games before, you should definitely check out the series. They are heaped with dialogue/(monologue), puzzles, little games, and more cutscenes than probably any other game.
As always I loved the storylines, and was entertained wearing that rubber suit in the air ducts, not wanting to give too much away.
There is also a fiendish platform game that took probably over an hour to finish (I might have sweared a few times), but hey ho, it is an optional game.
Anyways I hope to see a Part 6 at some point *fingers crossed*
Another great chapter of the series full of robots, conspiracies, action and sleaziness.
The game is quite long featuring a lot of locations and characters (with funny and long dialogues).
Tons of great graphics (mixed with some backgrounds that feel more placeholders, but do the job).
Plenty of close ups, cut scenes that give it a tone of comic book sometimes. Plus a lot of puzzle and arcade screens that help to keep the gameplay varied.
Sexual references and images are central to the game, so be aware in case it is not of your taste.
Another amazing episode. It was great to be able to skip the arcade minigames.
