My second game, and its another MAGS!
It's a rather short game, with a simple crime plot, but as you can see, I spent most of my time experimenting with a custom GUI. I find MAGS a good opportunity to improve my skills, so this time around I was making a custom GUI from scratch to improve my scripting skills. I was also trying to improve my character art, with mixed results!

A nice little game that you can progress through and finish quite quickly without getting stuck.
The experimental "action menu" interface is a nice idea, but it needs some work - if you click close to an edge of a room, half of it is off the edge and can't be seen or accessed; sometimes the text displayed when an action is selected is obscured by the menu (the menu should really be hidden first); and it would be nice if the options were highlighted as you moved the pointer down the list.
Another odd bug too - restarting the game takes you to where you left off rather than back to the start; if you go into the final room again after restarting the game, there is someone there who ignores you who wasn't there when you entered that room last time round.
Other than that, the plot holds together and has some good ideas. It's worth playing.
