A nice lil game to keep ya entertained for when you got half hour to spare.

I like how you can only pick things up when you need them,..as it would be in real life,..and why not? Considering there is only 1 room.

I really enjoyed this game. The digitised sprite seemed to work well with the background and the humour made me smile.

An enjoyable short game. :)

Interesting game... tricky to get certain things to work, because you have to try everything first.... the main character gfx were sweet though.

Alone in the Night is a cool little short game which I enjoyed a lot. Set entirely in a haunted cabin in the middle of nowhere, I was expecting a horror game but instead it is very much a comedy game. The destination may be spooky but the main character just shrugs it off and even casually befriends a cutesy ghost.

Although my expectation initially made the game seem weak, once I accepted it for what it was meant to be I had a great half hour of gameplay. Notably, the game has one of the funniest moments I have seen in an AGs game (SPOILER: I refer to when the chandelier comes crashing down. Great bit of slapstick with perfect sound affects SPOILER END).

The graphics were nice, especially the smoothly animated real life main character. One thing that annoyed me was the games insistence that you try every possible thing before it allowed you to pick up every item. Still, once I had worked out this was the case it was only a minor hinderance.

All in all, Alone in the Night is a slightly cliched but fun little game that I'd recommend giving a try if you've got a spare half hour.
