Tork is a perfectly normal guy, well, almost normal atleast. He loves to collect underwear. But one day, as he was about to actually put on some trousers for a change, Tork was sucked into the wardrobe and was teleported to a peculiar island which he'd never heard of before. Tork must now help the inhabitants of the island by defeating an evil witch so that he may return home to his precious underwear collection.

Well! I have never played a game where the main character is in his underpants (not that I remember anyways)
This is a rather strangely, cheerful game, with some great puzzles to it. The character moves rather slowly, but it is all worth it.
Obvious inspirations are obvious, given the title straight out of the Chronicles of Narnia and his real life dogs, to name just a couple examples.
As madmanmunt commented before me, the humor just isn't there and the game has a lot of padding, like forcing you to wait for events to happen, or forcing to backtrack multiple times to an area you've been before.
Fortunately, you can finish it in less than 30 minutes, but you'll probably still feel it was wasted time.
I want my time back.
Having played and been utterly amazed by Pleurghburg, I had high expectations for Calsoon. Sadly, these were not fulfilled. Although it is blatant from looking at screenshots that Calsoon is a completely different game from Pleurghburg, I wasn't expecting such a gap in quality.
Calsoon is a supposed comedy but there's very little to laugh at. If you find a lead character who walks around in only underwear funny, you might enjoy this script but that's about the level we're working at here. The characters are all big, ugly and clunky. I found it tortorous having to sit and wait for Tork to waddle across the screen.
One of the worst aspects of Calsoon is how long it takes to do anything. The puzzles are mostly fairly logical but there's a section in the middle of the game where you have to acquire a large amount of inventory items from the shop and for each one you have to go through an entire transaction, asking what there is in stock, saying how much you are willing to pay and choosing the item to buy. It's long winded and dull.
There are occasional bright moments in Calsoon but they are largely outweighed by the downsides, including a very unsatisfactory anticlimactic ending. It's an ugly, awkward game with very little to recommend it.
Not chrilles finest work, but certainly one funny game...and I can really sympathise with the hero...not wearing pants and all. Well worth a download.
