"It all startet with a dream. I saw myself - standing in front of a swimming bath. I felt strange. I felt strong. I felt the desire to kill. I knew my victim. She was in there. She had to die, she had to drown. Water was the first element. I couldn't stop myself. I had to kill..."

Sorry for the late pick this month... but on with the show! Emerald Eyes was a MAGS winner from Sinitrena, a regular MAGS competitor. It has some dodgy grammar and simple graphics, but the story is a cracking one. The game opens with your own death, but all is not as it seems. Your first puzzle in the game is then…
We'd love to hear what you think about the game!

I liked the game, the plot and storytelling are the strong parts of it and immersion was surprisingly good.
The graphics are ok (I have nothing against old-style drawing); I think only cemetry looked a bit roughly drawn.
I actually agree with one of the previously comments, that ending is quite predictable, - and I believe its the weakest side of the game. Actually I guessed about what happening after maybe 5 minutes of gameplay. I was thinking, how would it be possible to make it less predictable, and had an idea that perhaps you should make the dreams monochrome instead of coloured (I guess you understand why). Or maybe not... anyway, what's done that's done, it was a nice game to play.
It is a very dark story, wich was worth the half an hour it took playing.
The simplicity of the graphics and the straightforwardness of the gameplay did not bother me much, but the ending was extremely predictable.
Hm. Not the worst of all games, but I don't know why it was made "pick of the month". I enjoyed it, and it's good for a MAGS game, but compared to previous picks of the months, it sucks a bit. No major issues, just small things as not skippable cutscenes, the phone number thing (I'm an "international player"), missing messages... all in all, "ok" game.
Interesting story line, though the ending is fairly predictable. The graphics are adequate but could be better. Still, it's fairly short and worth a quick play.
