About

The Blackwell Legacy is the first case in a miniseries of games that stars a medium named Rosangela Blackwell and her spirit guide Joey Mallone. Their mission, it seems, is to assist tormented spirits and investigate supernatural goings on. They don't understand why they are thrown together, but they do the best they can.

The duo's first case will involve a series of suicides at a local university. Something unnatural has forced these students to kill themselves, and nobody knows why. Rosangela, who is just coming to terms with her new status as a medium, finds herself cast as the unwilling detective in this gruesome mystery.

The first episode of Blackwell has some confusing puzzles and may not be as polished graphically as its following episodes, but it's stil really exciting and the story writing i awsome. Not to be missed and as a start up for an amazing games series it work just right for me, making me very curious about its sequel.

I really liked gameplay mechanics and VA. Good and interesting story, it kept me on playing cause I was curious how this gonna end. There were some bugs though, which is odd so many years after the release. Overall, a very good start of the franchise. Episode 2, here I come!

I, like seemingly most of the world, adored Day of the Tentacle. However, in creating ‘The Blackwell Legacy’, Dave Gilbert has created something I thought I’d never see: a potential rival for DOTT. Absolutely loved it.

Day of the Tentacle was my favourite adventure game of all time. It has been rated as top of top 20 forums so frequently it's become almost expected. However, I think in 'The Blackwell Legacy', Dave Gilbert has created something I never thought I'd see: a potential rival for DOTT. Absolutely loved it from start to end.

My favourite adventure game ever is surely Gabriel Knight.

I haven't enjoyed an adventure game as much as I enjoyed Blackwell Legacy since Gabriel Knight.

Need I say more?
