Once Upon A Time is a point and click 3rd person adventure set in the imaginary Hidden Kingdom. You guide Jack on his quest to rescue a pricess abducted by the evil Dragon King.
The game has 8 different location and over 175 rooms to explore. The various puzzles have been designed to be more challenging as the game progresses.
This is my first game completed using AGS, and has taken over three years to make. I hope that you will enjoy playing it, as I enjoy playing it myself, despite knowing the solutions to the puzzes! Take a look at the web site I have set up to promote the game, which includes a few screen shots.

I really wanted to give this game a higher rating, but due to a number of failings in the core game design, I just can't.
We'd love to hear what you think about the game!

What a great adventure. Sometimes it is very hard, sometimes you need much patience, but it is so so exciting when you complete next chapters. I love this game.
This is one great game. I really makes you work your brains to get through. The art work alone makes the game top 10 and the story line and puzzles just ups that.
I tried playing through this game, but finally decided that it's a waste of time. Visually, it's nice, but I think the author should've created more interactions, better UI and better puzzles instead of whipping out 175 locations. This game involves endless walking around, constant pixel hunting and numerous dead ends/walking dead.
It's quite a shame, because it's obvious that she put in a lot of work and the game screams "good" at first look. Unfortunately, that feeling is gone after two hours of walking in a massively boring maze, only to learn (from the hints thread) that it must be reloaded because of a timed puzzle.
I really cannot recommend this game as it is (I played v2.) Maybe a new version will be released to fix the problems - it'd be worth the effort, as this game has a lot of potential.
need help with spider part anyone playing
Elen....great game and graphics are brilliant but at times I found the constant walking at the same slow pace with no interractions a bit boring, really does need a few more clues to provide the player with some idea as to what they are supposed to be doing. The one main criticism I have is that if you fail to pick up an item in one chapter then you can not complete the game.
